Doc Rat Collection #11 published on

Paperback book. 76 pages.

I’m Fair Off Me Tucker, Doc

The collected Doc Rat webcomic strips from December 2011 to June 2012. (DR-1427 – DR-1558)

Contains a long story. May be unsuitable for children. Contains adult concepts. There are laughs galore as Ben treats a blues singer with the blues, tests the cognitive function of an intelligent raccoon and has another run-in with a disaster-prone pharma rep. Then he starts the serious task of digging up old secrets and neutralising their poisons. Flopsy the wolf-rabbit’s “camberwell” is relatively easy. But his own wife Daniella has a whole dark past to come to terms with, and it takes dinner at an expensive restaurant and midnight drinks at a jazz club to complete the healing process.

What people say about Doc Rat Collection #11

Witty, moving and involving: Doc Rat is everything good storytelling should be.
Paul Kidd (EffectuatorsMus of KerbridgeA Whisper of WingsRed Sails in the Fallout)
In this stellar collection, the world of Doc Rat deepens in its shadings as we learn more about this society’s divisions and the conflicts that its inhabitants encounter on a daily basis…in addition to the occasional hungry predator.
Bill Holbrook (Kevin & Kell)
…a wonderful collection of both single-strip humour suffused with an appreciation and passion for the intricacies and complexities of the English language, and of through-line stories, featuring the same lovable and bizarre characters, containing, unobtrusively, some social commentary. Not to be missed!
Ditmar (Dick Jenssen)
